Princess Playhouse
A princess playhouse is a little girls dream come true. Many hours can be spent by one little girl or several girls in imaginative play within these playhouses. Imagination is the limit when it comes to options and designs of a princess playhouse.
Plastic princess playhouses are usually made from molded, durable plastic that can withstand different weather climates for years. They usually come with built in sink and stove combinations. Many of these playhouses have cut out windows for the child to look through. Little plastic tables, chairs, telephones and even plastic mailboxes can be added on to give little girls more fun.
Wooden princess playhouses can be homemade or store purchased. These playhouses give the parent an option of taking a simple design to the very elaborate. Electricity can be used in the playhouse to give it options such as working doorbells, real lights and fans. For the more elaborate princess outdoor playhouse heating and air-conditioning could be added into the building. Loft beds are often added as well as table sets and even sofas. The outside design could be anything from a simple cottage design to multi-level castles. Real windows, usually made of durable plexiglass, are built into many of the wooden style playhouses. Little girls like having the option of picking their own window curtains to match the paint color they choose for the interior. The roof on this style of playhouse is usually made of the same shingles that the real home has. Scratch resistant wood floors adorn the interior of many playhouses today. Some of the wooden playhouses have front porches attached to them where little girls can put flowers, have pretend mailboxes and they can even place little rocking chairs on them.
For indoor play little girls can have hours of imaginative fun in a cloth built princess playhouse. These playhouses can be homemade or store purchased. Store purchased cloth playhouses are generally assembled like most children’s play tents are. They come with plastic or metal inserts to slide the cloth over to hold the playhouses shape. Cloth playhouses are very light in weight and can easily be taken apart for easy storage. Many of these playhouses come with a storage bag so the child can take their princess playhouse with them on overnight stays at a friends house. Some of these styles of playhouses come with padded flooring to make them more comfortable for the child to crawl through and play in.
